ARRIVAL

Check-in is between 3 pm and 5 pm where possible. If you need to alter this time, please get in touch so we can arrange an alternative.

Getting there by train

It’s easy and climate-friendly to come by train:

From Berlin, the regional express takes about 1 hour 45 minutes, plus you can buy the inexpensive Brandenburg-Berlin Ticket that is valid for up to five people. Alternatively, there are somewhat faster connections with IC/ICE trains.

From Hamburg or Leipzig, the train journey takes about three hours, from Rostock, it is about one hour.

In Waren, the station is a 15-minute walk from the harbour. An additional 15 minutes will take you to the Wasserturm. As an alternative to walking, there is a taxi stand at the train station.

Getting there by car

Coming from Berlin, you can arrive at the Wasserturm in just over 2 hours via the A19 (exit Röbel or exit Waren).

From Hamburg, the journey via the A24 (exit Putlitz) takes about 2.5 hours.

Note: In order to reach the water tower without problems, please enter "An der Feisneck" as the destination address in your navigation system. Once there, take the first street on the left and you will arrive on top of the Nesselberg.

Getting there by bike

The Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle route and the Müritz circular cycle route pass close to the water tower.
